There are no such things as
ordinary moments...
Each moment is truly extraordinary.

Such was the moment when Mikki and Nancy met Debbi O'Toole. As grace would have it, the Simply Grace display was diagonally across from Debbi's beautiful jewelry display for her SoulQuest Designs business at a recent wellness fair. Following a gentle nudge on each of their hearts, they began a conversation and immediately recognized each other as kindred spirits. Mikki and Nancy had been looking for a very special soul sister to create a line of branded jewelry. The ease and depth in the conversation, the beauty of her heart, and the exquisite craftsmanship of her work was confirmation Debbi was a woman who understood the soul of Simply Grace. Shortly thereafter Mikki and Nancy invited Debbi to be an artisan for Simply Grace.

Divine synchronicity? Indeed.
This face-to-face, heart-to-heart and soul-to-soul connection was pure grace.

What a gift.

We invite you to get to know Debbi's heart through her beautiful words...

I have always loved to create! Throughout the years, I have tried many different forms of artistic expression, searching for the one that resonated with my soul and sparked excitement deep inside. As my creativity continued to unfold, I discovered inspiration from my own spiritual path. The positive affirmations and intentions I set emerged in the form of symbolic jewelry and SoulQuest Designs came into being.

I have found that symbolism throughout the centuries has a universal appeal in its messages. People find strength, hope, comfort and joy in having something tangible to represent a significant event, person or aspiration in their lives.

My designs begin with researching a cultural, ancient or contemporary symbol that evokes a particular emotion or feeling. I then carve a mold for the symbol using the skills I learned as a woodcarver. Precious metal clay, made from recycled silver, is used to create an impression of the symbol which is then dried and fired in a kiln at 1650 degrees. This process burns off all the clay particles to birth a metal charm in fine silver which is 99.9% pure silver. I polish each individual charm and put it in a solution to create a beautiful patina of many subtle hues which highlights the embossed symbol. I contemplate the meaning of the symbol and the energy it embodies and compose a poem to convey the message of each charm. The piece is finally complete when a connection is made with the person it was meant for.
